General anaesthesia

Our clinic provides the opportunity to undergo dental procedures under the general anaesthesia. This approach enables the management of distress from dental treatment in children as well as adults where other methods of fear management were not successful. The patient under general anaesthesia is not conscious, unable to sense any pain or any other discomfort associated with dental treatment.

After the consultation, the whole procedure is planned by an anesthesiologist. After a pre-surgery examination, the patient comes to our clinic in the morning and is administered the medicament to induce general anaesthesia. All the teeth that need dental treatment are treated during the procedure in order to minimise the necessity to undergo general anaesthesia again in the near future. The patient leaves our clinic several hours later directly to the comfort of his/her home with a new and healthy smile.
